Recent news claims that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is going to announce the cast of the MCUFantastic Fourreboot at theD23 Expo 2022. A new rumor says that Marvel Studios will reveal the Fantastic Four reboot’s cast and this rumor is to be believed by the fans.

Soon Kevin Feige will declare which actors will play Marvel’s First Family at Disney’s biennial fan event, reported byThe DisInsider Show.The apparent rumor also alleges that the president will officially announce who will direct the upcoming MCU film, afterSpider-Man: No Way Homedirector Jon Watts evacuated from the project in April 2022. And also, notably, neither Marvel Studios nor Disney has openly commented on whetherFantastic Fourwill be included as part of theD23panel, or not.

This rumor reaches the top due to a noticeable leak following Marvel Studios’San Diego Comic-Conand D23 panels that were proved to be false shortly after it came up online. This recent news also indicated thatFantastic Fourwill be covered atD23, and even acknowledged that the director Steven Spielberg was in last negotiations to steer the film. Industry veteran Mike Sampson later disclosed that while Marvel Studios seemingly reached out to Steven Spielberg about directing the film, these proposals went nowhere.
The cast for the reboot has been the topic of serious fan speculation ever since the movie was first declared in 2019. However John Krasinski characterized an alternate universe interpretation of team leader Mister Fantastic inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Sam Raimi’s cast doubted him reprising the role in forthcoming projects. Sam Raimi said:
“[Kevin Feige] cast John because the fans had a dream of who the perfect Reed Richards would be, and because this is an alternate universe, I think Kevin said, ‘Let’s make that dream come true.”

MCU star Chris Evans has also enlisted his name in the band. The actor conveyed his interest in reprising the Johnny Storm aka Human Torch role. He said:
“Wouldn’t that be great? No one’s ever come to me about that. I mean, I don’t exactly look the same anymore. That was 15, almost 20 years ago… But I really love that character.”
