The most devastating part ofAvengers: Endgamewas Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff’s sacrifice to save and bring back the world order after Thanos wiped half of all living things in his attempt to restore balance to the universe.

Tony Stark’s death in Avengers: Endgame

Iron Man’s ultimate sacrifice was epic and it looks like his death was influenced by Thanos’ war against the Universe. But hold your breath, this might not be the case as new theory claims that his death was inevitable as the current MCU villain has planned his death in every universe.

New fan theory claims why Tony Stark died

Tony Stark’s Death Across Multiverse

Iron Man faced a near-death experience in The FirstAvengersmovie itself as he redirected the nuke to the portal from where the celestial enemies were invading Earth. But inEndgamehe left all fans in tears after his heroic sacrifice. But Thanos may not be entirely responsible for his death, at least as per a new fan theory that explains the logic behind it.

Explaining his theory, a user under the Instagram handle name, ‘imdylanstark’claimed that Tony Stark’s death could be the ultimate plan of the MCU villain Kang the Conqueror all along.

Tony Stark’s sacrifice in Avengers: Endgame

“So let’s talk about how Tony Stark’s death could be an absolute point in every single Marvel universe. We know that Tony Stark died in Avengers Endgame, but unlike the other Avengers, we see him die in every other Marvel universe that we’ve been shown – every single one.”

Explaining further, he said that Tony Stark“is a super genius – this man solved time travel when he was bored one night.”And if he was“given enough time, he could 100% solve multiversal travel,”he added. So, he was the ultimate threat to Kang.

The Reason Why Kang Killed Every Iron Man Across Multiverse

Kang is an egomaniac and he possesses the supreme power of the universe. He saw Iron Man’s genius and could potentially make time travel a reality pretty soon.“So my theory is that when Kang solved multiversal travel, he saw the beginning, the middle and the end of all timelines,”the user continued.“And he went to the future to see if there were any threats to his plan to conquer the multiverse – and I guarantee you, one of his biggest threats were Tony Stark,”he added.

“He made it his mission to make sure Tony Sark’s death is an absolute point in every single universe because he runs the TVA. And he basically keeps every single universe intact by protecting the ‘sacred timeline.’ And if any universe steps out of line he sends the TVA to fix it.”

An example of this, he explains,“When Loki stole the Tesseract, he immediately sent TVA”to arrest him because he knew that“the Avengers need the Tesseract”and he made sure to prevent it. Killing off Iron Man across the multiverse would serve his purpose of protecting the ‘sacred timeline’ and his potential threats to disturb his plans.

By this theory,Robert Downey Jrcan not make the much-hyped return inSecret Wars. Still, it is unclear if Marvel will decide to bring the fan-favorite superhero into the mix but if they do, fans will have a new way of looking at the MCU timeline altogether.
