Cameron Diaz is returning to the silver screen after a decade in the action comedyBack in ActionstarringJamie Foxx. During the production of the film, it was rumored that the two stars did not get along on set and Foxx’s unprofessional behavior created problems for other crew members. (via The Sun).
Now Diaz herself has addressed this situation and ended these baseless reports. She criticized the unfair negative publicity on Foxx while also explaining how much she enjoyed making the film with him. She toldLipstick on the Rimpodcast,
“I had a blast. Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person and he’s so talented, so much fun. I really hate all of the things that were being said about our set. At the time, you just want to scream at the top of your lungs, like, ‘What are you talking about?’
Jamie is like the cheerleader for the entire crew, and everybody loves him. We have so much fun on the set with him, and he’s just a professional on every level.”
The actress is making a stand against baseless rumors surrounding a film that has become a real problem in the industry. It can really hamper the film’s hype among audiences and Diaz speaking out against it is a great thing to do as a part of the film.

Cameron Diazmade her film debut with the classic 1994 Jim Carrey starrerThe Mask.
