Appearing for an interview withBBC, Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke about the issues and the concerns he has with the American political scenario. Calling for some “really young blood” during the interview, Schwarzenegger even mentioned how he’d make a “great president”.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Believes He’d Make a Great President

Without a doubt, Arnold Schwarzenegger believes that migrating to America has given him great opportunities to explore his potential. However, despite having a keen interest in politics, the actor mentioned he would never run for the presidential election. Although according to the US constitution, Schwarzenegger will be disqualified from the position since he isn’t a natural-born citizen, he stated that he has no interest in the same.

During an interview withBBC, Arnold Schwarzenegger claimed that he has great potential to be the next American president. However, he then stated that he doesn’t want to explore that position. Without displaying a shred of self-doubt, the actor mentioned that he has accomplished a lot because of America and now he won’t complain because he can’t run for the presidential election.

“I feel like I would make a great president. But I feel that, at the same time, everything I’ve accomplished was because of America. America gave me so many opportunities…There was no one there that stopped me from my success. So the only thing that I can’t do, which is run for president, I’m not going to complain about that.”

Instead, the actor expressed his concern about the ongoing political scenario and mentioned what changes he’d love to see.

Admitting that he is not excited to see President Joe Biden and Donald Trump compete, Schwarzenegger mentioned a change he would love to witness.

Stating how the American political system is majorly filled with people in their late seventies and early eighties,Arnold Schwarzeneggerexpressed his desire to see more young people. Calling for youngsters to join the presidential election, Schwarzenegger mentioned young people might be able to bring the necessary change.

“I just hope that America finds some really young blood. Because to me, it is a little bit odd that we are having a battle between people today in the late seventies and early eighties rather than people that in the forties and fifties or maybe even younger and have them have a chance at this great, great job.”
