Goku and Vegeta have been in a rivalry ever since the beginning of theDragon Ballfranchise back in the 1980s. Both of these characters have had their respective power-ups, such as Super Saiyan up to Super Saiyan Blue and beyond. However, with the help of Tournament of Power, a literal battle Royal between universes, Goku was able to have an upper hand over Vegeta as he unlocked the power of Ultra Instinct, followed by mastery of the same.

While Goku might have gained an advantage in his rivalry with Vegeta in the Tournament of Power arc, the latter was able to unlock a new form never seen before in manga by training with none other but the God of Destruction Beerus himself. Also Read:Before One Piece Luffy Gear 5, Dragon Ball Super Broke the Internet – DBS Season 2 Update Convinces Fans it Will Happen Again
Vegeta Manages To Unlock Ultra Ego In Manga
Shown for the first time ever in “Vegeta Vs. Granolah” the 74th chapter of theDragon Ball Super, this is a transformation that Vegeta has trained hard to achieve as he was under the guidance of Beerus, the God Of Destruction.Ultra Ego unlocks a potential in Vegeta that has never been seen before in the series, as it allows the user to feed on rage in order to get stronger, with the only downside being that one needs to enter the world-destroyer mindset to utilize the Ultra Ego state, which is something that Vegeta did not seem to struggle with.
When compared to Ultra Instinct, Ultra Ego can be considered as the complete opposite of the same Ultra Instinct allows the user to basically leave everything to their body to act on their own, whereas Ultra Ego allows the user to do as they please. Also Read:“Frankly…a bit of a hassle”: Not Majin Buu, Akira Toriyama Had Major Trouble Drawing Another Dragon Ball Villain

Who Would Win Between Vegeta And Goku
While the outcome of a fight between Goku and Vegeta while they use the maximum of their capabilities heavily depends on the premises set beforehand the match, one can figure out who would win if the same were to happen eventually as we move on in the series.
Earlier showdowns between the two characters have always resulted in a win for Goku, with rare exceptions, of course. However, this time around, Vegeta just might have the upper hand due to having sheer raw power exceeding that of Ultra Instinct. It is also important to note that Vegeta gets stronger as he absorbs more attacks, making it a possibility that there is more to this form than one can even fathom, but with the help of plot armour as well as a more strategic mindset, it is highly likely that Goku will take the win once again. Also Read:One of the Most Powerful Beings in Dragon Ball Z, Vegeta Has a Weakness That Started After His Tragic ChildhoodSource:CBR
