The actor has now come in support of the protesting actors. Amid a SAG-AFTRA strike rally in the heart of Times Square, Cranston unleashed an impassioned speech, reserving a special address for none other than Disney head Bob Iger.

Bryan Cranston Has A Message For Bob Iger
From the “Rock the City for a Fair Contract” stage,Bryan Cranstonconveyed a resolute message to Mr. Iger. Acknowledging their differing perspectives, he implored him to lend an ear to their plight. Firmly standing against job displacement by robots, the deprivation of fair work and wages, and the erosion of their dignity, Cranston declared unwavering union solidarity.
“We’ve got a message for Mr. Iger,”Cranston said. “I know, sir, that you look [at] things through a different lens. We don’t expect you to understand who we are. But we ask you to hear us, and beyond that to listen to us when we tell you we will not be having our jobs taken away and given to robots. We will not have you take away our right to work and earn a decent living. And lastly, and most importantly, we will not allow you to take away our dignity! We are union through and through, all the way to the end!”
Commencing his discourse, Cranston pointed out a shared belief among the guilds and the AMPTP: the undeniable exponential transformation of their industry.

Bryan Cranston Points Out Business Models Have Changed
With conviction in his voice, Cranston emphasized the industry’s dramatic shift in the past decade. Despite this acknowledged truth in today’s economy, he pointed out the unwavering resistance from those in power to adapt to the changing times. Refusing to regress to an outdated economic system, Cranston made it clear that they are determined to forge ahead into the future, not backward in time.
“We are not in the same business model we were even 10 years ago,” he said. “And yet, even though they admit that is the truth in today’s economy, they are fighting us tooth and nail to stick to the same economic system that is outmoded, outdated! They want us to step back in time. We cannot and we will not do that.”
Amidst a sea of hundreds of SAG-AFTRA members and passionate union advocates, Cranston stood alongside a constellation of stars who graced the stage with their presence. The lineup included luminaries such as Steve Buscemi, Wendell Pierce, Christian Slater, Christine Baranski, Stephen Lang, and Titus Burgess. Sharing the spotlight were esteemed actors Michael Shannon, BD Wong, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Chastain, and many others.
