For the last ten years, gamers have been waiting for news of the nextGrand Theft Autoinstallment, and other than a few leaks here and there, have been left relatively in the cold. We’ve speculated, we’ve guessed, we’ve hoped and we’ve wanted… and now after such an incredibly long wait, we finally have our first official footage ofGTA 6!

GTA 6

GTA 6 First Look Trailer is Finally Here

Rockstar Games have released the much anticipatedGTA 6ahead of its scheduled release, largely thanks to yet another leak. Not exactly the best security over there, it seems. The trailer confirms what we hoped and assumed for a while… we’re going back to Vice City finally! Does this mean we’ll be getting Love Fist or Tommy Vercetti return? That we don’t know yet.

However, what we do know is that after 91 seconds of reveals and ten year hype releasing, we’re in for a treat. From sun-drenched sands to reptilian shop robberies, there’s a lot going on here, and like everyone, we’re going to be picking apart every single frame trying to find every last detail.

Gaming and Tech Guide 2025

Unsurprisingly there isn’t any gameplay as such, but it does confirm a lot of the leaks from last year, namely our two protagonists Lucia (featured heavily in the trailer) and Jason, as well as numerous locations throughout. With cars, bikes, guns, scantily clad women and much more present in the trailer,GTA 6looks set to carry on with in the traditional Grand Theft Auto way,  but will it be the generational game we’re hoping for? We’ll, we need to wait until some time in 2025 to find out.

GTA 6 Has Been a Long Time Coming

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll be well aware that the last entry into theGrand Theft Autofranchise was ten long years ago back in 2013 withGTA V.In any measurement, ten years is a long time, but for game franchises, it is an eternity, both from the fan’s perspective and from a technology/development perspective.

Rockstar Games have been diligently supportingGTA VandGTA Online, whilst shipping some less-than-successful remakes, the most recent of which is soon to make an appearance on Netflix, as part of their push to enter the gaming sector. However, after multiple remakes and remasters fans have grown tired of the lack of updates regardingGTA 6, and speculation surrounding the title has hit a fever pitch. This trailer will certainly do a lot to stem the waves of misinformation from fans, but it’ll also be to blame for a huge amount of fan theories going forward.
