However, we might witness the actor in the speculated role sooner than we expected, as industry insider Jeff Sneider recently touched on the topic of the character’s speculated entry in the DCU. According to him, Momoa might make his first appearance as Lobo inSuperman: Legacy. Sneider expressed his viewpoint regarding the rumor by stating,

“There is speculation that Lobo is going to show up in Superman: Legacy and that Momoa and that Momoa is going to play Lobo… That’s a pretty big breadcrumb to toss out there”

But despite the plethora of rumors pointing towards this theory, there hasn’t been any official report regarding this matter. However, fans can expect to witness Momoa in the DCU for many years to come, according to Peter Safran.

Peter Safran is excited about Jason Momoa’s future in the new DCU

It’s obvious that Jason Momoa’s DC future amidst the reboot is safe, asPeter Safranhasn’t backed away from commending theAquamanstar’s work ethic. Although Safran didn’t confirm if Momoa will be reprising the role of Aquaman in the new DCU or not, he assured that they will find better opportunities for the actor and is looking forward to a great future with him. He said,

“I look forward to working with Jason for many years to come. I would be happy for it to be in Arthur Curry’s world, but if/when another opportunity came up, I’d find another great character for him to create…there are few superhero castings that are more perfect than Momoa as Aquaman.”
