Here, when they talked about how his wife reacted to his weight gain of almost 40 Lbs, he said that she actually liked that version of him more.
On top of that, she also said that since he was chubby, there was more of him that she could adore for a while, which was a very sweet form of support for her husband. He said:
“She definitely liked this guy (chubby Damon) for six months, she was into that. On The Informant! too, when I put on like, 40 Lbs, she still loved me. She would say that there’s just more of you to love.”
