The Sun newspaper published an article on August 13, 2025, detailing a temporary halt in production for the filmBack in Action, starringJamie FoxxandCameron Diaz. According to an unnamed source, Foxx had a significant outburst on set, leading to the termination of four members of the production team. The insider described Foxx’s demand for immediate resolution and subsequent dismissals as an unrealistic attempt to resolve the issues at hand. The source also mentioned that some individuals involved in the project were frustrated with the unfolding situation, leading to a decline in Foxx’s popularity among the crew.
A source from the film set alleged that Jamie Foxx had been exerting his influence assertively, and unfortunately, Cameron Diaz was the one facing the consequences of his negative moods. The source further suggested that despite being the one who convinced Diaz to join the movie, Foxx was unhappy with the attention she was receiving and resented her for taking the spotlight.
