The former actress and the wife of the popular talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, has worked in the industry for over two decades, and the social movement gave her the opportunity to share the inappropriate behavior she had suffered from the actor and martial artist Steven Seagal.

Portia de Rossi Accuses Steven Seagal of Inappropriate Behavior
During the 2017 #Metoo movementSteven Seagalalso joined the list of many names in Hollywood who were accused of s*xual misconduct. Actresses like Rachel Grant and Julianna Margulies shared their experiences where they did not feel so comfortable around the Hard to Kill star.
Portia de Rossialso shared the experience she had during her final audition for a Steven Segal movie. TheSirensactress shared that she was called into the actor’s office for her final audition, where he told her“how important it was to have chemistry off-screen.”

She further shared that Seagal then sat her down and“unzipped his leather pants.”De Rossi ran out of the room in panic and called her agent. To her surprise, her agent did not seem unfazed by what happened with the actress and told her,“Well, I didn’t know if he was your type.”
My final audition for a Steven Segal movie took place in his office. He told me how important it was to have chemistry off-screen as he sat me down and unzipped his leather pants. I️ ran out and called my agent. Unfazed, she replied, “well, I didn’t know if he was your type.”

Her wife, Ellen DeGeneres, also supported her for coming out and sharing her story by retweeting her tweet. She said,“I’m proud of my wife.”Many other actresses also came forward with the accusation of s*xual assault, followed by Portia de Rossi’s claims.

Steven Seagal Faces Multiple S*xual Assualt Accusation
Along with Portia de Rossi, many other actresses came out claiming that they had also been Steven Seagal’s victims years earlier. During an appearance onSiriusXM’s Just Jenny, theERstar Julianna Margulies recalled the time when she was told that the actor wanted to go over a scene with her in a hotel room at 10 o’clock at night.
However, when she reached there, the casting director was nowhere to be seen, and Seagal was alone in the room. Fortunately, she was able to get out of there“unscathed.”Two more women accused theUnder Siegeactor of r*ping them when one was 17 and the other 18 years old.

English actress Rachel Grant also shared that she is also one of the victims of Seagal, claiming that he s*xually assaulted her during the pre-production of his 2003 filmOut for a Kill.She also mentioned that she was kicked out of the 2003 film after this incident. Seagal denied such accusations, claiming that he had no such interaction with Rachel Grant.
