Fans Want to Launch an Online Campaign To See Jake Gyllenhaal As The Next Batman
Ever since Ben Affleck was chosen to play the role of Bruce Wayne/ Batman in Zack Snyder’s DCEU, ardent DC fans have often questioned his portrayal of the character believing that he wasn’t a perfect fit for the role. A majority of the fans believed that his portrayal of the character was inaccurate and they compared Affleck to previous actors who had played the role, as well as the DC comics.
Hence, James Gunn took over DC Studios and he decided to reboot the franchise, and force the actor to retire as Batman. Now, the role of Bruce Wayne is vacant and fans have launched an online campaign on Twitter, in an attempt to see theSouthpawactor be the next Batman.

Hence, he would have been a better choice than Bale, but it is unknown how close was he to being cast for the role.
