Details About the Creed-Verse Anime

Collecting over $100 million and still going strong,Creed IIIis a massive success, and the franchise is planning to expand itself with Michael B. Jordan. Several reliable sources in the industry are now stating that executives of the franchise have plans to create an anime with Amazon.There is no concrete information, as the details are quite vague because some of the conversations are still in experimental stages but there will be an anime series based on the Creed-Verse in the works. In addition to the anime series on Amazon, there are also talks of a live-action TV Series.

During the premiere ofCreed III,Michael B. Jordan stated,“building the Creed universe is something that I’m really excited about.”Even though neither Amazon nor Jordan has confirmed the news, with the immense success of the three films, there is a high probability that the universe would be expanding and it will take its first step with Amazon.

Jordanis a massive anime fan and he has been talking about it for years the actor stated that the conflict between Adonis Creed and Damian Anderson’s conflict in the third sequel was heavily based on the popular anime,Naruto.The fans of the anime would know how complex and layered the conflict was between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. Some fans state that the final fight between Creed and Anderson was a tribute to Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha.

Jordan also stated that other renowned anime series such asHajime no IppoandMy Hero Academiawere his sources of inspiration. It was evident because the director chose to display the complex motions ofHajime no Ippowas seen in Damina Anderson’s in-ring movements, and the slow-mo shots of their gear and fighters, as well as the brutal punches were similar toAttack on Titan.

Another scene was at the end of the movie, during the handshake scene, Anderson and Creed began by dapping their index and middle finger similar to forming a Seal of Reconciliation, a gesture used byNarutocharacters to signify the end of a sparring match. The symbol marked the end of the conflict between Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, and it showcased a similar meaning inthe movieas well.
