Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features a plethora of challenges that players can complete to test their skills, and one of them is within the Mysterium, a gadget created by Mysterio. This gadget tasks you to clear its challenges as fast as possible. The faster you clear these side missions, the better your rating and rewards will be. This is also where you can get Hero Tokens which are used to upgrade spider suits in the game.
Here is a guide on the locations of each Mysterium challenge in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 as well as the rewards you’re able to gain.
List of All Mysterium Locations and Rewards in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
There are a total of 10 Mysterium stages in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. You can unlock Mysteriums after completing the Master Illusionist main story mission. Once you unlock the side-mission, your main goal is to find and complete each Mysterium challenge to rescue each person trapped in the virtual world.
You will need to complete nine of these challenges in order to unlock the final one. You can get Hero Tokens for completing each challenge. Additionally, you can get more tokens by hitting certain objectives.

The Invisible Enemy (Midtown)
Objective:Defeat six enemies using finishing moves.
Under Construction (Harlem)
Objective:Defeat 20 enemies scattered throughout the map.
Prison Break (Upper East Side)
Objective:Defeat enemies before the timer runs out.
Fight on Time (Chinatown)
Objective:Defeat six enemies using finishing moves while dodging laser beams.
Punch Your Ticket (Downtown Queens)
Objective:Defeat six brutes within a set time limit.
Everyone’s a Critic (Central Park)
Objective:Defeat 30 enemies before the timer runs out.
Road Rage (Williamsburg)
Objective:Defeat 20 enemies without being hit.
Grave Decision (Williamsburg)
Objective:Defeat three waves of enemies without being hit.
Fear of Heights (Downtown Brooklyn)
Objective:Knock 16 enemies off the platform.
Grand Finale (Downtown Brooklyn)
Objectives: Defeat Mysterio. This stage can only be unlocked after clearing the other nine Mysterium challenges. The Grand Finale immediately starts after you complete all 9 challenges.
This final Mysterium does not have a clear time reward. Instead, you need to defeat Mysterio. Here is a list of the rewards you can get after defeating the final boss of the side mission:
