Just a week out from the launch of the full game on PCs Larian Studios Drops Second Hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3
In the ever-evolving landscape of gaming, few titles have garnered as much attention and excitement as Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3. Since its release last week, thousands of players have been immersed in the rich and treacherous world of Faerûn. Facing perilous challenges, forging alliances, and unraveling mysteries with friends and companions. However, like any grand adventure, even the mightiest heroes encounter obstacles along the way. Enter Larian Studios’ commitment to improvement, as they recently rolled out their second hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3.
Second Hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3
As the developers enjoy the much deserved praise from fans and critics alike after the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC last week, they haven’t just been sitting back and enjoying the show. Despite the success, they are now looking forward towards the release of the game on Playstation 5, set to occur on August 02, 2025. With this additional month, they’re taking the time not just to get the Sony version ready to play but also taking the time to address bugs and glitches which have popped up long the way on PC.
The full list of fixes can be found on theirSteam Event page, and include a wide variety of issues which have been addressed. These include bugs causing crashes or blocked progress, gameplay and UI glitches, problems within the cinematics, and some issues with the engine. This time they’ve tackled nearly 300 bugs and issues, almost double than the first hotfix last week!
