Keira Knightley started her Hollywood career very young and surprisingly found fame for her roles in several movies. Portraying the role of Juliet in the 2003 movieLove Actually,Knightley had the time of her life especially since she wasn’t an adult at that time and was already on the sets of a film!

Talking about her role in the movie, Keira Knightley revealed that she had a terrible day of shooting when a zit emerged on her head. Describing the zit in great and unnecessary detail, the actress revealed that she was forced to wear a cap to cover the zit after the makeup team tried their best to hide it.
Keira Knightley’s Cap Wasn’t A Fashion Choice
Some might look at Knightley in the 2003 movie and consider that the actress had a modern fashion sense. Well,Keira Knightleyis here to break those visions as the cap was completely accidental and she had not planned her outfit at all.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,Knightley sat down for a chat with the late-night show host. Talking about her movies and career, thePirates of the Caribbeanactress revealed that she had quite a giant problem on the sets of the 2003 filmLove Actually.Since she wasn’t an adult at that time, a zit decided to pop up on her head and grew to drastic proportions.
“The only thing I really remember from doing the whole of Love Actually, I was 17 and this…I got the biggest zit of my life when we were shooting this scene. And this scene [In which she wears the cap] was like, you know, it’s an important one. Yeah, so it was literally, it was like another head growing out of my head”.

She further continued,
“And I was only on the film for a small part. I was only on it for two weeks and like the chances of getting like this extra head. So they went in and they tried to cover it and they tried to light it and there was nothing they could do so the hat went on”

While narrating the story, the actress also revealed the reason that she only watches her movie once after release and never again.

“I don’t know. It’s just weird, it’s weird. It’s like hearing your own voice. It’s like you know and I only see the bad bit so I’m like ‘ugh, why did I do that?'”
The actress was last seen in the 2023 movieBoston Stranglerand is currently attached to two upcoming projects which are in the pre-production and in-production stages of development.
