In an interview with Variety, the actress recently talked about her and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri Cruise. Recalling how they spent their lockdown days, Holmes stated that her daughter started watchingDawson’s Creek.Fans were quite excited to hear Katie Holmes talk about her andTom Cruise‘s daughter since she doesn’t do it often.
“[Suri] has seen Dawson’s Creek, and I think it’s probably weird since she’s a teenager. I’m not like, ‘You need to watch mommy’s work.’ But during the pandemic, we had a good laugh about it. It’s wild to have a daughter who’s almost the same age as I was when I began all this.”
Although Katie Holmes doesn’t discuss much about her personal life, the actress did admit that the initial days after divorcing Cruise were really tough to handle for her.

In an interview withInStyle,Katie Holmes talked about the next few moments that were quite intense for the actress. Holmes revealed that her divorce from Tom Cruise was very messy and that she received quite a bit of attention back in 2012.
“That time was intense. It was a lot of attention, and I had a little child on top of it. We had some funny moments out and about in public. So many people I didn’t know became my friends and helped us out, and that’s what I love about the city.”
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were eventually separated in 2011 following which a court proceeding declared them legally single and their divorce was finalized in 2012. Cruise and Holmes haven’t remarried yet with Katie Holmes getting full custody of their daughter Suri Cruise.
