Promoting his new family reality TV series –The Family Stallone, Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone freely spoke his mind about the ongoing Writers’ Guild strike that has caused the entire Hollywood to come to a standstill of sorts.

Huge production houses with pockets deep enough, though, are able to get around the strike and still manage to pump out some shows. But, back in May, Sylvester Stallone confirmed that his own hit show has been put on hold, and so is his paycheck.
Jennifer Flavin Stallone (wife); and daughters, Sistine, Scarlet, and Sophia Stallone joined in on the conversation along with father Sylvester Stallone who felt that writers have been pushing through their limits and it’s not always the easiest job to be in.

Sylvester Stallone Felt Writers Are The Foundation Of Hollywood
Considering the fact thatSylvester Stalloneis a writer himself, his soft spot for writers wanting their demands to be met is not as surprising.
The WGA strike began on May 2 after negotiations with AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers) didn’t produce fruitful results.

Stallone told Newsweek,
“Writing, I’ve done all the different aspects of filmmaking. I’ve written 40 screenplays that it’s, it’s so laborious and so unheralded. That’s the hardest part of the process. Without that, there’s nothing. That’s what Hollywood is built on, ‘the word.’ And yet they’re not very appreciated.”
The 77-year-old actor noted that Hollywood has to notice their writers’ plight and that without them, projects can’t move forward.
