It’s nothing surprising when one says Daniel Radcliffe is a brilliant actor to the core. Acting ever since he was 10, the actor has landed perfect roles in blockbuster movies and series. Best known for playing the role of Harry Potter in theHarry Pottermovie series, the actor has worked in numerous different genre movies, ranging from action fantasies to romance-thriller dramas.

In an interview, Daniel Radcliffe opened up about his one biopic movie in which he had to make love with a man, saying it was a‘f**king painful’experience, even though he loved filming the movie.

Ever since starring in theHarry Pottermovie series,Daniel Radcliffehas been gaining much acclamation worldwide for his incredible acting as well as carefree personality. Starring in the gay love story-based biopicKill You Darlings(2013)with Marvel starElizabeth Olsen, Radcliffe shared his experience of filming the movie.

Talking about the scene where theHarry Potteractor’s character, Allen Ginsberg loses his virginity to a random stranger after getting rejected by his man crush, Radcliffe said,
“I was talked through it by the director. He would be telling me what I would be feeling in each take. Basically, gay s*x, especially for the first time, is really f**king painful. And [Krokidas] said that he had never seen that portrayed accurately on film before. He wanted it to look like an authentic loss of virginity.”

Even though he admitted to the experience being quite a painful one, Daniel Radcliffe also admitted to genuinely enjoying filming the movie.

While the actor had to go through quite some excruciating process while filming his 2013 biopicKill Your Darlings,Daniel Radcliffe said the movie was quite fantastic and appropriate and that he had no regrets whatsoever about going through the painful process while shooting the movie.
Sharing his true feelings about the film and the subject on which it was based, Radcliffe said,
“I don’t think there’s any difference between how one falls in love. People express love differently, person to person, but it’s not gender or sexuality-related. The only difference it made was obviously the actual sex scene, of course.”
As it turns out, Daniel Radcliffe too, even after being straight, lies in the list of celebrities who encourage and promote the LGBTQ community.
