EA Sports has upgraded their FieldSENSE technology in Madden NFL 25 with a brand new “physics-informed dynamic tackling system.” However, this feature is exclusive to the next-gen versions of the game (PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S). This includes a new data-driven physics system that uses timing, momentum, weight, speed, strength, and player ratings to make tackles more dynamic. Overall, it’s expected to give you a more immersive and realistic football experience.
The Hit Stick has also been updated, and it now uses a timing-based mechanic. Your angle of impact, stick skill, and accuracy for cut sticks, big hits, and trucks all play a part in this. It goes without saying that this will produce more lifelike player movements. Also redesigned is the Ball Carrier Balance and Recovery System. Now, depending on the hit’s quality and the players’ ratings, you’ll have more control over whether you take a big hit, break the tackle, and regain your balance.
