Sadie Sink has always been a beloved actress fromStanger Things. Although she is often considered a bold young actress, Sink happens to have her own issues and difficulties with intimacy. Thus, spilling the beans on her first kiss, the actress confessed how awkward it was, initially. Sink, who plays Max Mayfield in the Netflix hit series, pairs up with her co-star Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas Sinclair.
Reflecting upon the episodes when Max and Lucas started dating,Sadie Sinkmentioned dreading the moment when the show-makers come up with a kissing scene. “We were both awkward, but it was also funny” Sink shared. Thus, eventually, when the two characters ended up having their first onscreen kiss, the actress recalled her experience, “It was nerve-wracking at the time, but I look back now and can laugh about it”.

Sadie Sink’s Unscripted Kiss With Caleb McLaughlin

“Ooh, Sadie, you ready for the kiss?” to which she went, “What! No! That’s not in the script…that’s not happening”.
Discussing withThe Wrap, Sink mentioned,
“I always felt comfortable and the Duffer Brothers, they do the best job and always create a comfortable space. And if I felt uncomfortable with anything, I wouldn’t have done it.”
Repeatedly, trying to ease the controversy related to the unscripted kiss, Sadie Sink mentioned feeling so “stressed out” and “freaked” by a kiss, that the Duffer Brothers had to insist on it.
