The actor has stepped forward and admitted to these mistakes and past behavior that may have negatively affected anyone, even though that was never his intention.

Years after Schwarzenegger became a governor, he admitted to having made a lot of mistakes, especially in consideration of his behavior towards women. Not only did he admit to his wrongdoings, but he also apologized for them. He confronted his past and how the changing times have made him realize how he made various mistakes while being unaware of their effects on the world outside.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Apologized For Misbehaving Towards Women
Arnold Schwarzeneggerapologized for not being appropriate towards women. He pointed out how back then it was all fun and games, never meaning for it to ever be anything but playful. However, seeing the evolving times, the actor has come to realize just how many mistakes he made. From the cheating scandals to the misbehavior, a lot of it was left unseen by everyone around him.
“When I became governor, I wanted to make sure that no one, including me, ever makes this mistake,” he stated. “That’s why we took sexual harassment courses, to have a clear understanding, from a legal point of view and also from a regular-behavior point of view, of what is accepted and what is not.”

The actor confirmed that he underwent courses to make himself and his team aware of the dos and don’ts in terms of behavior and what is acceptable. He knew that the only way to learn about his mistakes was via apologizing for them. Schwarzenegger admitted to having crossed the line many times and is deeply sorry about it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Addressed His Views On Masculinity
The actor was featured in the 30th-anniversary edition of Men’s Health and talked about his career and how he reached the highest of peaks. When asked about whether or not #MeToo and the surfacing of his misconducts had played a part in changing his view on masculinity, the actor gave a rather simple reply.
“I’ve not changed my view. I’m a guy. I would not change my view of who I am. The woman I was originally most in love with was my mother. I respected her, and she was a fantastic woman. I always had respect for women.”

He confirmed that he learned to respect women from his mother and as an individual, change can be a crucial thing to come by. He has not changed his views because of who he is and still has the utmost respect for women.
