After Tim Allen seemingly confirmed the return of Buzz Lightyear and Woody in the fifth installment ofToy Story, fans have made speculations about the cast. Rumor has it that Tom Hanks will return as the voice of Woody, which his brother may have just confirmed.
Jim Hanks has suggested that theForrest Gumpstar will reprise his role in the upcoming sequel. While he has substituted for his brother in terms of voice acting, he noted that Hanks is not yet done portraying the beloved role.

“I was having lunch with Tom, and we were talking about, you know, and he thought he was done. He said, “Well, Woody’s yours now,” and I went, “Oh, really?” Well, I guess it is, isn’t it? But not so much, and he’s back!”
