After finding her footing in the industry throughTransformers, she reprised her role in the sequel and was also putting her acting chops to the test throughJennifer’s Bodyand all eyes were glued on her. But things went a little south after she found herself in a controversial interview on the Golden Globes red carpet. Reflecting on the situation, Fox hasn’t backed away from sharing her regrets, as the actress explained she wasn’t in the right state of mind after having multiple drinks with Blake Lively and the Jonas Brothers. She recalled,
“I was sat at a table with Blake Lively and all three Jonas brothers. At the Golden Globes, they always put those giant bottles of Moët champagne on the table. I went through multiple glasses of that. And now I don’t drink, and this is why… I think I got in a lot of trouble for whatever I said on the red carpet at this event. I don’t remember why, but I know that I did. You could look that up.”
The red-carpet interview involved theTransformersstar making some controversial remarks against the transgender community, which landed her in a lot of trouble. But this isn’t the only thing that troubled the actress in 2009, as one of her most ambitious projects would fail to deliver.

Even though she made a name for herself through theTransformersmovies,Jennifer’s Bodywas the opportunity for her to showcase her acting chops to the world, as it was going to be relying on the actress’ shoulder. And its failure had an impact on her ascend at the time.
