Sandra Bullock Still Feels Embarrassed For Her 1997 Film
Followed by the huge success of the 1994 filmSpeed, the makers of the film decided to proceed with a sequel. WhileSandra Bullockagreed to return as Annie Porter, her co-starKeanu Reevesrefused the offer. After which, Jason Patric was cast opposite Bullock, and the sequel was finally released in 1997.
However, unlike its predecessor,Speed 2: Cruise Controlwent on to be one of the worst sequels of all time. It went on to be one of the biggest box office bombs of all time and garnered only a little over $160 million at the box office.

During an interview with TooFab,The Heatactress shared that she is still embarrassed about featuring in the 1997 filmSpeed 2.She said,“I have one [that] no one came around to, and I’m still embarrassed I was in.”She went on to say that the film she was talking about was“Speed 2”and that it made no sense.
“I’ve been very vocal about it. Makes no sense. Slow boat. Slowly going towards an island,”Bullock said. TheBird Boxstar further said that she wishes she had not done the film, as most of her fans hated the movie.

Another Sequel Sandra Bullock Regrets Doing
Sandra Bullock has been quite open about the films she regrets doing, especially sequels. The actress seemed to have bad luck when it came to featuring in a sequel of her own movie. Apart from the 1997 film, she has done a sequel for her 2000 action comedy,Miss Congeniality.
The film featured her as an FBI agent Gracie Hart who enters a beauty pageant to prevent a threat surrounding the contest. The sequel follows Bullock’s character looking for her kidnapped companion in an undercover mission. However, it also ended up failing at the box office.

Talking about the film, she said,“[It] shouldn’t have been done.”One of the things she liked about the sequel was that she had the opportunity to work alongside Regina King, who portrayed her partner Sam Fuller in the sequel. Other than that, she only had one thing to say about the sequel,“That one should have remained a one-off.”
