In a 2011 appearance onThe Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,Chris Evansopened up about how he gained the mesmerizing smile that can make anyone fall for him.
While many might think that it’s something that he always had, it’s far from the truth with the actor commenting that his father had a huge role in enhancing his facial features.
“I’m a very lucky guy, my father is a dentist.”
He mentioned that he used to look like an“idiot”as his teeth were developing.
“So I was very lucky because I looked like the village idiot growing up like my teeth were trying to escape my face.”
He, later on, clarified that he got clear braces as a kid which is how he preserved and enhanced his features. Due to his outstanding appearance, he also gained the top spot in Sexiest Man Alive in 2022.

Evans was the new face of PEOPLE’s 2022 Sexiest Man Alive following his Marvel co-star, Paul Rudd’s footsteps who held the title a year earlier.
During the interview, he mentioned how he would highly impress his mother, Lisa with his then-new title who has always been a major support system to him.
“She’s proud of everything I do but this is something she can really brag about.”
In this year’s appearance onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,he addressed how this title has affected his usual super-stardom life.
“So they haze you, and it almost feels like it’s — that’s all that title does is give you a hard time, you know what I mean?”Evans stated with a laugh.“Like, nobody on the street’s like, ‘Hey. You know what? You did it.’ No, they’re just busting your balls.”
The title is quite a big deal among the fans who desperately look for fresh visuals that could serve as a treat to their eyes. As for his acting work, he was last seen alongside Ana de Armas inGhostedwhich is available on Apple+.
