Bruce Willis Rejected the Script for an Oscar-Nominated Movie

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore were the hot coupleof the 1980s and had quite a relationship, traveling to various places and enjoying various things that boosted and strengthened their relationship. While the couple broke up in 1998, they were still one of the fan favorites as the two of them were famous actors during that time. In 1989 both Willis and Moore were sent the script for the romance drama movieGhost,while the script was a bit unconventional it was definitely worth being starred into. But as it turned out Willis found the script quite weird and took his hand off it while Moore went ahead and starred in it.

Skip a year and after its release,Ghostbecame one of the most critically acclaimed movies of that time and also became the highest-grossing movie that year.Ghostwent on to star Patrick Swayze as its lead and also get itself nominated for the Oscars in 1991. In an interview withThe New York Times,Bruce Willis shared,

Ghostalso went on to be a box office major with over $517 million collected after its release worldwide with a mere budget of $22 million. The movie won various accolades including the Academy Awards, the BAFTA Awards, the Golden Globes, the People’s Choice Awards, and many others.
