Certainly, after creating a notorious reputation for their addictions and legal issues, Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan both had to compromise their career, since their personal issues often overshadowed their work. However, being great friends, Sheen went out of his way to help Lohan and even spoke affectionately about her.

Charlie Sheen Paid $100,000 To Lindsay Lohan After Partying
Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan have shared a strong professional bond after they worked together onScary Movie 5andAnger ManagementTV show. Both notoriously known for their addictions and legal cases, the actors once spent a night together, boozing and partying, after which Lohan even tucked Sheen into bed.
Following their bonding in personal life after partying hard,Charlie Sheenwas completely taken aback by Lindsay Lohan. That’s when he pitched her name for a cameo appearance at the beginning ofScary Movie 5.And while speaking withThe Daily Beast, the actor even mentioned, “I gave her half of my salary on Scary Movie 5.”
“They offered me a ton of dough for one day, half a mil. But then they said they were going to cut it in half when they were hiring Lindsay. I asked her how much she was being paid, and she said $100,000, so I just gave her $100,000 of their money. Paying it forward.”
However, although the actor paid Lohan a hefty amount, Sheen never received gratitude from the actress. The actor publicly reported how Lohan never thanked him for the check he mailed to her. But fortunately, after the public complaints made by Sheen, the actress sent him a bouquet of flowers expressing her gratitude.

Charlie Sheen Shared His Piece Of Advice For Lindsay Lohan
Nonetheless, irrespective of what happened between Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan, the actor always had love and affection for his co-star. Always being supportive of her, the actor even mentioned during his interview withThe Daily Beast, how he often felt bad for Lohan. He further proceeded to praise the actress for her natural talent in acting.
“She was pretty cool. I felt bad for her. I was with some of her team the night before making sure she got on this plane, and all I wanted to do was rehearse the scene with her…But I couldn’t get her to rehearse it, so we only met in the makeup trailer about five minutes before shooting. She was shy and vulnerable, but her instincts are dead on.”
Later on, during an interview withUS Weekly, apart from being very complimentary and supportive of her, Charlie Sheen also shared his piece of advice forLindsay Lohan.
“I have nothing but love for her. I always had tremendous affection for her…[I’d] just tell her, just stay the course. You can’t change the past, but they wouldn’t call it that if it wasn’t, right?”
Living through very public meltdowns, after a string of arrests for DUI, and other offenses, both actors have been through similar distress. Thus, Sheen shared his words of wisdom with Lohan.
