Taking Willis’ five daughters, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, his ex-wife Demi Moore and his mother, Helen Willis, it’s understandable why theDie Hardactor would want a male member aside from himself in the family.

In a move that has raised more than a few eyebrows and chuckles, he has openly expressed his desire for a grandson to add diversity to the family dynamic. Rumer Willis, the eldest daughter ofBruce Willisand Demi Moore, does not share her father’s desire for a grandson.

In 2020, the actress discussed her thoughts on establishing a solid relationship with a partner before starting a family on an episode of The Talk.

“I think it’s so important not to rush in and have it be about the lust or about, you know, that immediate connection, then building a real foundation.”

While the family joked about the lack of“male energy,”Rumer Willis is more concerned with finding true love than continuing the Willis name.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Rumer Willis, her sisters, and their mothers were quarantined, creating an atmosphere conducive to open communication and bonding.

Too Many Female Energies In The Willis Household

With a wink and a joke,The Sixth Sensepointed out that the family’s preponderance of female energy could use some balance.

“It’s a lot of women, obviously. He has five daughters and my mom and my stepmom. There’s just a lot of female energy. Even then, I’m like, OK, I want to ensure who I do that with.”

Rumer Willisadded a touch of humor to her story about her father’s playful pressure. She made a light-hearted remark about how Bruce Willis would be first in line to“kidnap”her son if she ever had one.

“But even still, if I have a son, I guarantee you guys, my dad would somehow try to come in and kidnap him, hijack the child, try and take him away.”

While it may have been a hot topic about having“male energy”around, the once serious conversation seems to have taken a backseat. Earlier this year, theUnbreakablestar had to take an early retirement from acting because of his diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia.
