Like Grow a Garden plants, food items also have tiers, going from Uncommon to Prismatic. Naturally, you get better rewards for high-tier food.

Prismatic is the best tier of food you can submit to Chris P during theCooking Eventin Grow a Garden. There is a bit of RNG involved when it comes to getting the Cooking Rewards. However, you can increase your chances of getting good rewards, such as the new Gourmet Seed Pack and rare plants such as the Taco Fern, by giving Chris P high-tier variants of the plants he is craving.

In the Grow a Garden Cooking Event, each food item has a tier, like crops and gear. The higher-tier food you submit, the better rewards you get. Tiers such as Divine and Prismatic usually require rare crops to make as well.
