Potions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard are easy to find if you stick to the path of the quests you take on. As you explore the world of Thedas and walk along quest-designated paths, you will stumble across green pots along the edges of your path. These pots are vibrant green and difficult to miss. Approach and break them with a light attack to obtain a potion.
Take note that the potion will only be added to your stock if you’re running low. If you hold the maximum count of your potions, you cannot pick up the healing item on the ground. However, If your stock is full but your health is low, the potion on the ground will automatically replenish your HP.
These green pots can be found all over the world, but especially so in quest designated areas. If you see a bunch of them piled up on a path, it is also your cue to brace for a mob or an ambush. Similarly, these potion-bearing green pots are also found in and around boss arenas. This way, the game ensures that you get a fair chance to heal up before taking on a difficult boss.

How to Increase Your Potion Stock in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
By default, you start with the ability to carry four health potions in the game. TheAntivan Crowsclass, however, gets one extra slot. We recommend picking this class if you wish to carry an extra potion.
You can also increase your capacity byupgrading the Pursuant’s Implements Armor to Rare. This armor, available for Rook, will then allow you to carry an extra potion. Alternatively, you can alsoincrease the slots by using enchantments unlocked by the Caretaker at Rank 7.
