Season 1 launched within The First Descendant, bringing in a host of new content, quality of life changes, and a new Descendant, Hailey. One of the best changes was an new passive device you can upgrade that gives boost for that season. These boosts range from survivability to boosts in damage across a variety of content. However, these passives must be unlocked with Ironheart Particles, a new resource collected in Invasion zones. Below, we explain what Ironheart Particles are and how to farm for them in the First Descendant.
What are Ironheart Particles
In The First Descendant, Ironheart Particles are a new resource need to unlock passives in theInversion Reinforcement device. This device allows you to unlock various passive bonuses for that season, ranging from boosting health pools to reducing damage taken to buff your damage. So all of the boosts can change how the game plays and how strong your Descendant is each season.
Within this system you will need to level your Inversion Reinforced then spend Ironheart Particles to unlock the various passives available. This makes Ironheart Particle crucial in scaling the power of your Descendant throughout each season.
How to Farm Ironheart Particles
You must collect these Ironheart Particles in theInvasion Zonesfound on the World Map. Once you have unlocked Invasion Zones, you will need to make your way to one of the red highlighted zones on your map. On the world map there are two map districts that rotate daily and will be highlighted for you.
Within each map district, one zone will have an outline in a similar red and have a mission icon. Also these zones are where you are able to complete Invasion Missions and collect various parts for Hailey. If you navigate to the UI node in the bottom right when looking at this zone labeled “Ironheart Particles Collected X/10, you’re able to open this to see the challenges needed to collect your Ironheart Particle pieces.
Daily Objective to Obtain Ironheart Particles
you’re able to find 10 objectives in each zone that you must complete for Ironheart Particles in The First Descendant. Furthermore, you must complete all of these objectives throughout that zone and you must complete them on Hard Difficulty. Also, these objectives are random and based on the zone they need to be completed in so be sure to pay attention to what objectives you are trying to complete. Below are some example objective to farm for Ironheart Pieces in the First Descendant:
Just like the Invasion Zones, these objectives rotate daily with the difference maps and are based on the location they are available at. So you can collect all 20 Ironheart Particles, 10 from each zone, each day if you wish to help progress your Inversion Reinforcement faster.
