It is not easy these days for a movie fan. The pandemic is still raging outside and more and more anticipated movies are hitting the screens. Disney’s Raya And The Last Dragon is one of those movies. Everyone wants to watch it but the theater option seems out of the question. Disney has decided to go the parallel Theater-Disney+ route. The prices are a little steep though. You have to shell out $29.99 to watch the movie on the Disney+ platform. If you think that’s way too much for a movie, we might have a cheaper, more affordable option for you. This option allows you to watch the movie in nearly half the price quoted by Disney+.

And to top it off, it is entirely legit!!

This option comes due to the courtesy of New York International Children’s film Festival. The NYICFFis hosting two online screenings for Raya and the Last Dragon on the 12th of March. The biggest selling point for the tickets is that they cost $18. That is nearly half the price you need to pay if you want to watch it on Disney+.

The online screenings will be a one time watch as opposed to Disney+, where we can watch a movie we bought as many times as we want to. Despite the single scheduled viewing, there is a massive upside for Disney fans if they opt for the NYICFF screening.Kelly Marie Tran, who voices Raya in the movie, will be presiding over a Q&A session post the screening. Joining her will be an as of yet unannounced selection of prominent film makers and directors from Walt Disney Studios.

The New York International Children’s Film Festival is an event that has been happening since 1997. It’s objective is to bring intelligent and diverse children’s movies to the spotlight. The NYICFF is a non-profit event. It stands to reason that Disney has decided to highlight their flagship animated movie for this year in this event.
