Andrew Garfield feels his Spider-man character would never bond with Iron Man and Thor
The Amazing Spider-manstar opened up in an interview about his character’s friendship with other actors. Talking aboutRobert Downey Jr.‘s characterIron Man, he said,
“He wouldn’t get along with Tony Stark cos I don’t think he likes him. He is too arrogant, his ethics are dubious, and Peter is the man of the people. Peter is the working class hero, and Tony is rich because arguably he is not all that responsible or kind of heartfelt.”

He also discussedChris Hemsworth‘s character Thor,
“Thor I think would get pissed off with me. I think because I am a talker and I would irritate the hell out of him.”

He added that he feels he and Bruce Banner would get along and feels he may also be on good terms with Hulk. He said Spider-man is a talker and trickster who likes to entertain himself while saving the city.
He added it would be fun to team up with Bruce Banner and Hulk.

Andrew Garfield on reprising his role forSpider-man: No Way Home
After playing the titular role inThe Amazing Spider-man 2in 2014,Andrew Garfieldplayed the role in the 2021’s Tom Holland filmSpider-man: No Way Home. The actor opened up on playing the role again in conversation with Variety. On being asked the reason for saying yes to the film Garfield said,
“I wasn’t expecting to ever have a conversation again about potentially playing Peter Parker. I felt very excited just to be a fan again. But I got this call from Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige and Jon Watts with this idea. It was immediately undeniable. It sounded incredibly fun, incredibly spiritual — trippy and thematically interesting. On a base level, as a Spider-Man fan, just the idea of seeing three Spider-Men in the same frame was enough.”
“We talked a lot about mentorship. We talked a lot about brotherhood and about what it is to be the older brother, younger brother, and middle brother. There’s also a thing of seeing someone you love walking down a path that you’ve already walked down, and you know it doesn’t lead to the place where you ultimately meant to go.”
Andrew Garfield’s last appearance was in box office hitSpider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
