During an interview with Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover from Access Hollywood to promote his 2017 movieThe Foreigner,Jackie Chanwas asked a few fun questions about Hollywood stars. TheKung Fu Yogaactor was first asked to name his favorite Kardashian, but it became apparent that Chan wasn’t keeping up with the Kardashians. However, his response to the next question was both obvious and humorous.

When asked about his favorite Hollywood Chris, with notable options likeChris Pine,Evans,Hemsworth,Pratt, andChris Tucker, theArmour of Godactor’s choice was clear. Given his collaboration with Tucker, the decision was easy as he shared his enjoyment of working alongside him inRush Hour. Yet, theRumble in the Bronxstar playfully acknowledged that it wasn’t always smooth sailing with Tucker.

Reflecting on his experience filmingRush Hourwith Tucker, Jackie Chan revealed that the stand-up comedian was a bit difficult to work with. Tucker’s rapid-fire Atlanta-style English posed a significant challenge for Chan, who was still learning the language. Furthermore, thePolice Storyactor revealed that Tucker’s tendency to change his lines between takes often left him struggling to keep up. Chan said:

“No fun… Filming with him terrible. Every scene, every dialogue different. You know… you know my English. Something like ‘um where are you going’ and I say ‘Okay, that’s my turn’. Then second take. Different dialogue. None of them same. Ten takes, ten different dialogues. Chris Tucker, I don’t understand. He just keeps talking.”
