6. Sea-Serpent’s Coil Best ESO Mythics

It’s not as strong as it used to be in PvE content with the release of Velothi Ur-Mage’s Amulet, but it’s still a solid option in specific fights like Lokkestiiz. Because it offers Major Courage, groups used to switch every damage dealer into Sea Serpent’s Coil on bosses that deal constant damage to the group. This allows the healers to provide different buffs instead of Major Courage. However, that isn’t done as often since there are better options for overall group DPS.
Sea-Serpent still cracks in PvP, though. There aren’t a lot of Major Courage sources in the Elder Scrolls Online, and this is your best option for unorganized PvP content.

It’s difficult to understate how good Velothi is, so it tops our list of the best 10 mythics you should use in ESO. There’s a reason why almost every damage dealer runs this item, and it’s probably the best set-and-forget item in the game.
The permanent minor force is one of the major reasons why this myth is so good. Normally, you’d source minor force through Barbed Trap, but Barbed Trap isn’t as strong after Update 41. It’s still a great single-target DoT, but it’s no longer your source of minor force.
The reduction in light attack is strong for the same reason. While your skills more than makeup for the damage reduction, missing light attacks are less impactful to your DPS. It’s even better for that reason in movement-heavy fights, where you won’t be hitting Barbed Trap consistently for your minor force.
How to get the Velothi Ur-Mage’s Amulet:
Patch 10.0.5brought ten new item sets, three new mythics, andtheScribing feature. There were minor balance changes due to introducing11 new skills via Scribing called Grimoires.
