This ESO Endeavors Guide will explain how the endeavors system works and show you can start to earn your way towards that awesome apex mount!

The Elder Scrolls Online Endeavors system is a great way to passively or actively acquire the means to purchase crown gem and crown crate items without having to spend real money. While this process can take a long time if you want to be able to purchase the most highly valued items, the benefit of the system is that all it requires is to simply play the game. This ESO Endeavors Guide will explain how the system works and show you’re able to start to earn your way towards that awesome apex mount!

Seals of Endeavor

Seals of Endeavor is the name of the special in-game currency by which players may purchase crown crate items. Prior to their release these crate items were only attainable by spending real life money (or by the somewhat chancy player-to-player trade of gold for gifted crown store items). Now players have an opportunity to earn them by using a currency which players can collect in game. Given that the items in the crown crates are usually the best-looking costumes or the most desirable flashy mounts, however, the number of Seals of Endeavors which a player will need to earn can be quite high.

Currently, the Endeavor’s cost for crown crate items is set at:

Endeavors Quests

Players earn Seals of Endeavors by completing daily and weekly Endeavor Quests. These quests are not like other dailies which need to be actively picked up by the player character and are added to the character’s quest journal. Rather, Endeavor Quests are always automatically active on your account. They can even be earned ‘passively’ if you happen to complete one of the quests in the course of your regular gameplay. You do not even have to check what the current Endeavors quests were, the game will still automatically reward you.

If you do wish to check what the current running Endeavors quests are, open up the Group & Activity Finder in the UI. Endeavors is listed right below Group and clicking on that will give you the option of either Daily or Weekly. The game will show you which Endeavors quests are active, which ones (if any) you have completed, the reward for each, and how a timer for how long until the current batch of quests resets.

The amount you earn for each endeavor quest depends on the difficulty. The daily quests are typically short and simple and will reward you with anywhere from 10-20 Seals of Endeavor. There are usually 5 daily Endeavors quests active each day, BUT you are only allowed the reward for completing 3 of them. So, it’s possible to earn up to at least 30 Seals of Endeavor per day if you complete as many as you may.

The weekly quests obviously will require more work and will commonly reward the player with around 225 Seals of Endeavor. There are usually 3 weekly Endeavors quests active, BUT you are only allowed the reward for completing one. So, there are a total of 225 Endeavors you could potentially earn. Keep an eye out, though! It can pay to at least check what the Endeavor Quests are, as on rare occasions, the rewards for special quests will be much higher!
