Win and Defeat Conditions
Take note of these conditions to know how to complete this mission:
You must keep your allies’ morale high throughout the battle. You can do this by doing combo attacks or dodging enemy attacks at the right time. If the morale of your allies gets too low, you risk losing as they will flee from battle.
Battle of Wan Castle Walkthrough
This mission can be unlocked after you reach the Jing Province’s Expeditionary Forces Camp. A cutscene should activate once you reach the area. Afterwards, you will be able to start the mission.
1. Make Your Way to Wan Castle
You will have to fight waves of enemies and their officers to reach Wan Castle. While you are at it, you can try and take down as many enemies as you can forskill points.
2. Destroy Archer Towers
You will need to work with your allies to take down Archer Towers. Taking down these towers is not mandatory. However, they can be annoying for your allies if you simply ignore them.
3. Destroy the Gate With a Giant Battering Ram
Your allies will show up with a giant ram. You need to help protect it so it can reach the castle gate. Do not let it be destroyed, or you will have a harder time completing the mission.
4. Destroy First Censer
Once you infiltrate the castle walls, you will need to take down the censers. Use the Eyes of the Sacred Bird to locate these censers and destroy them. Once you locate the first one, get close to it, and there will be an option to smash it.
5. Destroy Second Censor
After getting rid of the first one, the Yellow Turban troops will set up another one further into the castle. Use the Eyes of the Sacred Bird again to locate this and smash it.
6. Defeat Zhang Liang
Once you are done with the two Censers, you will now have to battle Zhang Liang and defeat him to claim victory. Make use of your strongest abilities like theWar God Ragewhich allows you to use True Musou Attacks.
Once you defeat Zhang Liang, the Yellow Turban forces should retreat and end the siege with a victory.
