Naruto’sspin-off sequelBoruto: Naruto Next Generationshas been going on for quite some time now, and although initially it got a rough start and criticism from fans, it has managed to catch up to the expectations of the fans to some extent. It is both a spin-off and a sequel to Kishimoto’s Naruto, following the exploits ofNaruto’sson,BorutoUzumaki, and his ninja team.Borutoarose from Shueisha’s proposition to Kishimoto to create aNarutosequel. The anime series has received appreciation for its usage of both new and returning characters, while the manga’s narrative was observed to be more serious because it focused more on the protagonist.

Boruto’sTime Skip is Different thanNaruto’s
The time skip inBorutobrings in a new era for the series, much like the originalNarutotime skip did in Part II. Time skips can be a contentious element in any medium, especially if viewers believe they are not done correctly. However, while both time skips represent a significant shift in their respective plots, they have significant variations. In both time jumps the characters take an extended absence to train for an enemy who is either present or on the way. They become tremendously stronger and learn new abilities during these training sessions. However,Boruto’sgrowth during the time skip is reportedly faster thanNaruto’s.
Naruto’stime skip focused on him not only learning about himself but also his jinchuriki, whileBoruto’stime skip focused more on him growing stronger to face the enemy.Boruto’stime skip may hold some differences from that of his father’s, and this has led fans to believe that maybeBoruto’stime skip is better thanNaruto’s.

IsBoruto’sTime Skip Better thanNaruto’s?
According to what has been seen thus far,Boruto’sthree years of training away from the village may have done more for him thanNaruto’s.Boruto’stime skip training has been primarily concentrated on secluded teaching under Sasuke Uchiha, whereasNaruto’stime skip training meant leaving home to train intensively with Jiraiya across the world, broadening the geographical reach. Details are scant, but it is safe to assume that their training was hard, allowingBorutoto utilize his Karma seal and learn new powers to combat the rising threats.
So far,Boruto’stime jump is shaping up to be an interesting sequel. At the very least, it accomplishes more to raise expectations in the opening few chapters than Shippuden did in several times the length. This demonstrates that theBorutosequel series, dubbed Two Blue Vortex, may have an improved beginning than Shippuden ever had.
