George Clooney Made A Bet With Brad Pitt To Get Into A Haunted House
This isn’t the only time that Brad Pitt was pranked by George Clooney as during the shooting ofOcean’s Twelve, theBatmanactor made a bet with him to spend the night in a haunted house. The house was an abandoned one across the lake from his villa in Lake Como, Italy, and was most definitely not haunted. The actor, alongside an Italian friend of his, made his co-stars think that the house was inhabited by a murderer who would dump bodies in the lake.
“We were all staying at my house in Lake Como, and there was a house across the lake. It was empty. There was an Italian book about it and we’d made up a story about how haunted it was,”he went on,“we give $10,000 to any guy who could spend a night in the haunted house with just a candle and a bottle of wine. You got a candle, you got six matches, and you got a bottle of wine.”He then added, “It goes by like two or three windows and then we get a call and they’re like ‘f— that, get us out of this house!’ And we came back and pulled them out.”

These stories that were made up to make the house have an ominous feeling worked and eventually Pitt, alongside Don Cheadle were bet $10,000 to spend the night there, while Clooney, alongside Matt Damon, watched from the outside. They did not last very long as they only had a candle and matches as a source of light along with a bottle of wine. In the end, Clooney alongside their co-star, Matt Damon managed to win the bet, after the two called them, begging them to come pick them up.
