Assassin’s Creed Redhas been one of the most requestedACtitles of all time. For years,Assassin’s Creedfans have been asking for anACgame set in Japan, and fortunately, Ubisoft has finally heard our requests. And it may release much sooner than previously expected.

With very limited official details regardingAssassin’s Creed Red, fans have been speculating if the game will ever see the light of day.Assassin’s Creedis without a doubt Ubisoft’s most profitable and iconic franchise because of how varied its content has been. Assassin’s Creed Codename Red Release Date
One thing that allAssassin’s Creedgames have in common is that they all take place in various historical settings and are actually quite informative to some extent. Gamers have been asking for their desired historical era to be visited by the franchise, but the most requested setting is undeniably feudal Japan. It’s weird that it has taken this long for Ubisoft to listen and developAssassin’s Creed Red, but at least it’s finally happening.
Just last year, Ubisoft confirmed that a number ofAssassin’s Creedgames were in the works, including the Japan-setAssassin’s Creed Red. Till now, the game only had a codename and an extremely short teaser trailer, which is why nothing concrete can be said about its release date, but we now know that it may be sooner than previously thought. This update came from an unexpected LinkedIn post by Arisa Lagunzad, a member of Ubisoft’s Business Development and Brand Partnership, which stated that the company was searching for potential partnerships for the game, which would be released next year in 2024.

More AC Titles Other Than Assassin’s Creed Red
This is the first time in a while that we have heard something substantial aboutAssassin’s Creed Redand its release window, but Ubisoft is known for pushing its games back, so for now, we’ll take this news with a grain of salt. The game is also purely a single-player experience, and there have been no hints of anAssassin’s Creed Codename Redmultiplayer mode.
This is also the first time in 8 years, since 2015, that fans are getting two consecutiveAssassin’s Creedtitles, asAssassin’s Creed Mirageis coming out in fall 2023. Moreover, there have been reports that Ubisoft is developing anAssassin’s Creed Black Flagremake, but there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet.

Ubisoft has also announced otherAssassin’s Creedgames, such asAssassin’s Creed HexeandAssassin’s Creed Codename Jade. In fact, theAssassin’s Creed Codename Jaderelease date is also set for early 2024. There has been no news regarding theAssassin’s Creed Hexerelease date.
Fans can only wait for more official updates aboutAssassin’s Creed Red, but so many announcedAssassin’s Creedtitles should keep us busy for a while. Are you looking forward to playing anACgame set in feudal Japan? Let us know in the comments!

Building his collection of PlayStation consoles throughout the years all the way up until PS5, he prefers single-player experiences like The Last of Us and Persona, while also letting off steam on a daily basis with casual EA Sports FC matches. But the current rise in online multiplayer shooters will never really appeal to his old-school self.
