Recently, aOne Piecereboot was announced, which would be done by Wit Studio. This has divided the fandom, as some believe a reboot is not necessary and some don’t. Meanwhile, many fans have started to raise their voices in favor of getting underrated anime such as Berserk, Yu Yu Hakusho, and others a well-deserved remake, too.

Fans ask for other underrated series to get reboots
One Pieceis on a heated run, with live-action season 2 in production as well as the anime and manga entering the final arc of their journey.
Recently, it was announced that Wit Studio would be rebooting the series and animating it from the beginning with better animation, pace, and other aspects.
However, fans are not in favor of this decision, as they believe it was not required as the original anime was not bad overall.

Fans believe that instead of rebooting a series that was already ongoing and doing well, there are several other deserving series that should be rebooted as well, following theOne Pieceannouncement.

Although it was evident that TOEI’s animation pacing was very bad and caused the story to drag way more than necessary, rebooting the series was not a good decision.
Fans always complained about the terrible pacing of the series, but instead of rebooting the series, the pacing could have been fixed, and it would have worked out.
There are numerous animes, such asTokyo Ghoul, Berserk, and many others, that deserve to be remade due to their wasted potential.
However, it is important to know that the reason it got rebooted was due to its massive fan following and guaranteed returns on investment, unlike other animes, which have a relatively small fanbase as compared toOne Piece.
