Prior to the Disney agreement, theHis Dark Materialsactress confirmed that she had been in preliminary discussions to reprise her role as Laura in a future project. It now appears that she may have the chance to unleash the claws once again and reunite withHugh Jackmanin the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
CanWeGetSomeToast, an insider, claims that before the strikes began, Keen was in talks to play X-23 inDeadpool 3.Once the situation is resolved, Keen will hopefully resume talks.
Sources have newly confirmed that Marvel went into negotiations with Dafne Keen right before the strikes started to bring her back as a grown up Laura Kinney/#X23in#Deadpool3.

In an interview withComicBook.comin 2020, Keen said:
“I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high in case it doesn’t happen, but I really do hope it does because I loved playing Laura. She holds a very special place in my heart and she’s an incredible character. And to be fair, the whole Deadpool 3 situation really, really made me happy because, obviously when Disney bought Fox, I suspected they weren’t going to do any more R-rated films, but then greenlighting Deadpool is a great sign for other R-rated movies.”

Jennifer Garner Has Now Joined TheDeadpool 3Cast

The actress gained fame in 2005 for playing the lead role in the superhero filmElektra. Even though Garnerwas adored by the audience for her titular role, the film received a mixed reception. Nearly 20 years have passed, but recent events indicate that the actress will reclaim the role inDeadpool 3.
